# What is RFID?

## The principal of RFID and the work mode

RFID's principle is the non-contact data communication between the read-write head (or antenna) and the code tag (or label) to achieve the purpose of identifying the target.

Its working mode is non-contact and supports a two-way data communication. It uses radio frequency to read and write the recording media (tag or code block), so as to identify the target and data exchange.
