What are the different method for detecting point levels?

Detecting low and high levels in tanks, containers, tubes

There are mainly two types of point level detection:

  • Contact type
  • Non contact type.

    Non-contact – Outside the tank we can use :

  • Through beam fork sensors
  • Capacitive sensors

    Direct contact – Inside the tank

  • Capacitive level sensors
  • Capacitive immersion probe
