What does dynamic read mode mean in case of RFID?

Dynamic read mode is an operating mode of an RFID solution:

The processor unit accepts the read/write request from the control system and stores the information regardless of whether there is a data carrier in the active range of the read/write head. As soon as a data carrier enters the active range of the read/write head, the job is executed. This is also known simply as dynamic mode.
