# What is the difference between BTL-7S standard and BTL7S + (plus) SSI interface transducer?

## BTL-7S Standard and BTL7S + (plus)

**SSI interface Micropulse Standard for asynchronous operation**

**BTL7-S5\_ \_-M\_ \_ \_ \_-B-\_ \_ \_ \_**

- Synchronous serial data transmission compatible with controllers from various manufacturers.
- Reliable signal transmission, even over cable lengths up to 400 m between the controller and BTL transducer guaranteed by the especially noise-resistant RS485/422 differential line driver and receiver. Any noise signals are effectively suppressed.

**SSI interface Micropulse Plus for asynchronous operation**

**BTL7-S510-M\_ \_ \_ \_-B-\_ \_ \_ \_**

- An integrated USB interface allows you to set functions, interface parameters and active stroke length.

**SSI interface Micropulse Standard for synchronous operation**

**BTL7-S1\_ \_B-M\_ \_ \_ \_-B-\_ \_ \_ \_**

- Micropulse transducers with the synchronized SSI interface are suitable for dynamic control applications.
- Data collection in the transducer is synchronized to the external clock in the controller, allowing optimal speed calculation to be made in the loop or other controller.
- Prerequisite for this synchronous mode of the transducer is that the clock signal be constant
