      What are the guidelines for installing the BIS C data carrier?

      Steps to follow when installing the BIS C data carrier

      These guidelines need to be followed when installing the BIS C data carrier in a tool holder.

      Installation in SK taper:

       

      Installation in retention knob:

       

      Installation details:

      1. Decrease gluing surfaces.
      2. Apply a bead of glue (e.g. LOCTITE Hysol 1C) approximately 3 mm wide around the perimeter of the data carrier housing.
