# What are the two variants with an adjustable background suppression?

## Different methods to achieve background suppression

Balluff Background suppression have two variants:

**1. Mechanical adjustment of the receiving unit.**

- It is with the screwdriver, the angle of the receiving unit to the object this sets the background at a different angle to the receiving unit stands and has no influence because the light is deflected.

**2. Teach button:**   

- Object and the background are taught in via the teach button. About teaching the PSD receiving unit on which point the Light beam from object and background hits.
