Series connection
Does series connection of switches affect anything? In the case of series connection, there may be time delay (e.g. ready delay). The number of switches that can be connected is limited by the total voltage drop (the sum of all UD).
For 2-wire switches, the number of switches that can be connected is limited by the increase in the minimum supply voltage level.
If it is a 3-wire DC switch, the rated load of the output section will form an additional limit, because the no-load supply current IO of all switches together constitutes the rated working current ie.
The ready delay time TV is equal to the ready delay time of a switch multiplied by (number of switches n – 1).
