Balluff's IO-Link product types
At present, there are many master station modules supporting EtherCAT protocol, including:
- master station modules with 4 or 8 IO link interfaces,
- 4 IO link compact master station modules,
- 16 IO interface modules with configurable input and output.
The protection IP level reaches IP67, so it is not installed in the electric control cabinet and installed nearby. Excellent performance, low cost, flexible layout and simple control - these are the advantages of EtherCAT, an industrial Ethernet technology.
EtherCAT has comprehensive flexibility: from free layout selection to access and disconnection of equipment and sections during operation, to redundant cables in ring layout.
