Can you use lasers with Balluff's Vision Cameras?

I am using a laser in my project. Is there anything that I need to do in order to protect the vision system?

Yes. A filter should be used on the vision system that blocks out the wavelength of the laser. Otherwise, you risk damaging the imager.

The imager can be damaged by both direct and indirect (reflected) laser light, so a filter should always be used in laser applications.
