Non-Contact position measurement with IO-Link from Balluff
Balluff offers the BTL6-U101, which belongs to the non-contact position measurement sensors with IO-LINK interface. The IO-Link interface simplifies connection of data-intensive field devices to all of the most common industrial fieldbuses and networks. The digital interface also eliminates problems associated with traditional analog signals such as noise grounding issues, and the requirement of shielded cabling. The rod style form factor, with 8700 psi rated stainless steel pressure tube, is ideal for hydraulic cylinder position feedback.
