The BFS33M is a so-called true color sensor. It operates in the CIE Lab color space, which covers all colors perceptible to the human eye. The sensor sends white LED light to the target object. The components reflected from the object are detected and analyzed by the sensor. This enables the object color to be determined with high accuracy. Each color can also have a tolerance assigned to it.
