BIS C family read/ write head
The read/write heads of BIS C family are usually offered with a cable outlet with plug.
The cable length is internally compensated. Heads available with cable lengths are 1 m, 5 m or 10 m depending on model (for 10 m cable the read/write distance is reduced by 10%).
Trimming the cable results in signal detuning and loss of communication.
The same conditions apply to read / write heads with connectors as the units are tuned to the cable length.
