Smart-level sensors
The smart level capacitive sensor can reliably distinguish between true liquid level and
conditions such as foam, film, or material buildup. These conditions usually cause conventional
capacitive sensors to false trigger.
The Balluff smart level sensors are available in a wide array of housing shapes and materials including PTFE for the harshest chemical environments. They provide cost-effective, reliable, point-level monitoring for a wide range of processes for fields such as medicine, biotechnology, life sciences, and manufacturing.
Unlike standard capacitive sensors that detect anything with a dielectric strength, Smart Level sensors only work with water-based, highly conductive liquids.
