Purpose and features of Balluff Emergency stops

E- stop is a device used in an emergency situations to put a machine or process into a safe

state. Proper configuration of E stop is required to avoid injury or damage of equipment.

There are four primary statements for e-stop:

Device must have a positive opening opening mechanism.
Device must have a latching mechanism.
The operative parts must be structured to allow easy access to the pushbuttons ,wires and rope.
The operative part must be red on a yellow background.
