Balluff capacitive switch detects objects and material levels.
Balluff's capacitive sensors detect fluids, granulates and powders in direct contact or through a non-metallic container wall. As stick-on sensors, they fit flexibly to the housing shape and are easily removable.
Moisture, foam and deposits of any kind are compensated for, even through glass and plastic walls up to 10 mm thick. This makes them ideal as level detection sensors for conductive media while guaranteeing high application security.
Balluff offers sensors with a detection distance from 1 mm to 8 mm.
The dimensions for the M12 are 34 x 16 x 8 mm, and the sensors currently have a capacitive amplifier BAE00LC that support IO-LINK function.
