When counting the number of screws on a tray, which tools should I use?

I need to count the number of screws on a tray, can Balluff vision systems do this?

It depends on whether the screws are laid out randomly or in a pattern.

• If they are randomly strewn on the tray, then a Find Object tool can be used to count the screws, even if they are touching or overlapped.

• If the screws are not touching, then a Check Blob tool can be used.
